It feels great. I hated the pseudo-3D overworld and the shitty battle backgrounds. I like your arbitrary line between DP and Pt. Even you try to distance yourself from it because you know how shit it is. The DS games have the worst game engine in all of pokemon. I can't wait for the remakes to keep going so people can see they are shit in any engine. Even a 1 to 1 remake shows how shit the games are. Time is ticking DSfags, you can't hide from the truth.

Honestly it sucks as a long time fan, though. The world I used to love spending so much time in is dying, because some undeserving, incompetenr pricks want bigger slices of royalty pie.

The chart isn't tearing down any of the generations though. It's saying some of the games (SwSh and SV) are bad, but not that the generations themselves are bad. Besides, SwSh is objectively fucking bad and in a lot of ways represents a massive turning point and dip in quality for the franchise. It deserves to be below the other games.
