I'm planning a Pokeclone that I'm probably never going to make, just as a mental exercise. What do you think about a type that is strong against every other type, but also weak against every other type? Too OP? What are some fun things I could do with the concept?

Right I remember, but this is an entire type and can be paired with one or two other types (I'm planning to have triple-type mons and moves)

What does it achieve besides creating an obviously hyper offensive glass cannon?
Do you really need such an obviously forced mechanic to create super offensive glass cannon?
Do you have any in-lore justification for something like that?

If it's forced idea just for the sake of it, then resign. It's not pretty, it's not clever and it achieve nothing that can't be done with other, more organic tools.

Triple type mons and moves will be used very sparingly. It's just for situations like Drapion and Dhelmise.

The simple fact that you're thinking in terms of a "type system" already means it'll just be another Temtem, Nexomon, etc. that fails to distinguish itself because it's trying to be too much like Pokemon.

I've thought extensively about this. Gameplay-wise it will be relatively similar to Pokemon (with key differences), but lore-wise, it will be different enough to have its own distinguished identity. A big part of the appeal of the franchise would rely on the lore, atmosphere, world design, and creature design. Plus, hopefully it'll be more fun of a competitive title than current year Pokemon.

That's just a glass cannon. If the SE/NVE multiplier is always the same it doesn't actually add any additional depth to the game.
