Having people upstairs, downstairs, right in front of your porch, thousands everywhere, even homeless bums in "parks with grass," and they all just blend into the already-unnatural city environment. Add that on with millions of zoomers spamming you with clown emojis, and you start to lose vision on individuality entirely. The only human he saw left was himself, which drove him crazy. Even just a bad weed trip would be enough to break him, but he probably took some hardcore drugs to further damage his mental health. He had everything stacked against him, to stream your mental breakdowns and be egged on for clout and money.
