why would it fucking matter if it was a regional form or a totally different mon to begin with? arent they technically doing you a favor by not locking this new form to one specific region like all the amazing regional forms in the past? not to mention, they can actually fucking coexist in one setting? in the end it takes up a dex spot regardless if its a regional form or not, and theyre doing us a favor by not making the funny dickworm a fotm meme regional

Gen 5 did the whole convergent evolution thing better, but everyone threw a tantrum just because Unova respected its own mons enough to let them have have a prominent presence in their own damn region instead of side lining them so Gen1 could hog the spotlight once again.
