Based, I'm playing heartgold myself and the playtime added by doing daily events and such is immense, I'm currently roughly 26 hours in and still haven't even gotten the spray bottle, right now I'm focusing on trying the pokeathelon since I just unlocked it. Between that, the game corner, collecting all the nearby apricorns, giving them to kurt, doing the daily lotto number and buena's password, getting my mons haircuts, etc I'm having a blast

Damn son, that grind must have been brutal. Unless I'm nuzlocking that game I go in with my team at level 40-42 at absolute best.
Even Nuzlocking, getting to the level cap of 47 is a pain in the ass.
Those poor Rhyhorns and Donphans (Fuck the exploding Gravelers; they deserve it.)

Pure soul. GSC and HGSS are not just games to play through in a day, they're meant to last. Playing a little bit of SoulSilver every day for like a year when it came out made it by far my most played Pokemon game ever, and that was without touching the online since I know some people spend literally 999 hours breeding for that in the newer games.
HGSS won't be surpassed in enjoyment anytime soon.
