Since the late 2010s, think 2019 and onwards, I feel like Pokemon is slowing losing their importance in the gaming world. Sure, it's a giant of the entertainment industry and will remain at it for a long time, but unless something revolutionary happens, I can see Pokemon fading out of public consciousness by the 2030s and beyond.

Millennials and zoomers will be the new boomers, and what we do today won't be nothing but a memory of a distant past.
