These Pokemon are built for the meme audience. Zoomers with the attention span of gnats. They're meant to generate lots of hype short term but quickly forgotten about in days so people can chase their next high. This is what Pokemon has been reduced to

What are we supposed to talk about? It’s been this bad since like 2016. The year of POGO, Kalos League Meltdown and promoting Gen 7 as this big anniversary celebration just made the mindset of jumping on a bandwagon for the trendy new thing and forgetting it for the next trendy new thing the common norm in this fandom.
