>>51566066>ElektrossSee I wouldn't have a major issue with Electric Pokémon if they were all like him, Thundurus and Galvantula. Unova, for all its faults, has IMO the best ("Most acceptable" is a better descriptor) Electric Pokémon by far. I even willingly used one on my team in my first playthrough of Black (Galvantula, he was a bro).
One of the (various) things that turns me off from Competitive is how ubiquitous this bland, uninspired Type is. When talking about performance in battle, GF makes absolutely sure every Gen that Electric Types are some of the best.
At least Bug Pokémon had the decency to be trash in battle until their designs improved.
I take serious issue with the Pikaclones. At least Marill had the decency to be a Water Type, and 4 years later be a Water Type with Huge Power, and 4 years after that get STAB Waterfall.
And you know, NOT stay a Pikaclone. It actually evolves. Looking at you:
>Plusle & Minun>Pachirisu>Emolga>That Gen 6 one that I can't remember the name of>MorpekoAnother Thing: I've been doing Nuzlockes lately, and I get a bit upset that the game's balancing kinda forces one of those bastards on your team (in a Nuzlocke, I don't use them in normal playthroughs). Because If you dare to not ride around with one of the yellow fucks, Gyarados will rain down hell's fury upon you.
>Jolteon>Raichu>Manectric>LanturnI've been made to use one of these mons every time I had any serious intent of winning the run.
Picrel: Look at the boring fuck. I didn't WANT to use him, but how else was I beating the Gyarados on Wallace's team?
