Having Ash lose the Indigo League and Kalos League for bullshit reasons then trying to appease viewers both times afterwards by making him win some shitty island leagues in the middle of nowhere that no one ever heard of with shitty league rules, the second of which didn't even try to follow the league system of the games the one time it could've actually worked.

You know the scene would've worked just fine if it was a Pikachu's attack hitting Scizor
Golisopod is weak against electric moves so he'd have a better reason to run over 1x damage
