I want a Full-Seahorse team so bad.

Seahorses are fucked up. That's a fish but it can barely swim? Its tail bones are a fucking complex mesh of interlocked squares literally just so it can cling to seaweed because it can't fucking swim? Mpreg? Fuck me.

I love seahorses. Wish Dragalge was as versatile as Kingdra though, it's such a one-dimensional Pokemon I don't even bother using it. It can't even run a working gimmick set. Hopefully it gets Dragon Dance or Recover this gen.

From what I understand, seahorses are primitive going by fish standards. They essentially just have a tube instead of a proper stomach and intestines.
I remember a greentext going over how seahorse biology would mesh with a worried kingdra watching its trainer do nothing but depression drink.

Quite the opposite, Sea Horses are extremely recent, evolution-wise
They did evolve from Pipefish, which are pretty much what a straight seahorse looks like, and have very similar quirks, including being unable to outswim a current
