Greninja has no personality but it's everywhere, compare it to Ash's original starters and it's not even comparable. Bulba, squirtle, and charmander all had a reason to be on his team and had their uses on his journey, not just 'this is our shillmon, it is strong'. Ever since gen 6 starter wars have been pure cancer and people have taken it to shitting and starting flame wars with the kanto trio, when they've always been in harmony.
