>>51603619You ever hear the story about the Grizzly Man? He was this guy who was convinced he could live peacefully among bears. The thing is, he was actually sort of right. He lived among bears in a national park every summer for thirteen years, he even brought his girlfriend along. But, I'm sure you can guess how the story ends. That's because you can logically infer what might happen when living among dangerous creatures like that.
So why then, when it comes to humans, are you so determined to ignore that instinct? The part of you that becomes hyperaware when assessing threats? Humans aren't automatically safe to be around because they're intelligent, that only makes them more dangerous, and you know this. Why should any single group of humans automatically be assumed to be totally harmless and without any ill intent?
Logically speaking, people making that assumption all the time is guaranteed to draw people in who seek to take advantage of that trust. Lets say that you're right and that no trans person will ever even think about harming another person in any way or otherwise abusing the large amount of trust you give them. What then happens when somebody who DOES want to take advantage of that trust simply pretends to be trans? You already know what happens, they get away with it again and again until they're caught in the act. But even then, who's going to ever report them? YOU? You believe that trans people can do no wrong, and you also believe that this abuser of your trust IS a trans person, so in your mind, what they're doing must not then be wrong. How far do you think it would go before you're willing to report them? Before or after you catch them raping your child?
It doesn't matter if I'm lying about what trans people want or how they act. The fact is that by trusting ANY group of people blindly and without question, you open the door for ANYBODY to manipulate and take advantage of you.
