Don't care, Red's based. Other trainers have canonically beat him and it doesn't matter because I care much more about what Red added to my experience as a player than I do about power levels. Until Ethan or Hilbert or whoever appears as a superboss in another game, it's no contest.

What in the world are you talking about? Red lost clean as a whistle to Gold in Gen II. Red was basically the true final boss, and defeating him gives you the credits again.
