>Have no good Normal movesSlaking still has Double Edge and both have Body Slam. Both are also coming off 160 Atk, which is only beat by Kartana, Kyurem-B, and Calyrex-Ice. Regigigas can 2HKO Toxapex with just a neutral hit.
252+ Atk Choice Band Regigigas Body Slam vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 144-169 (47.3 - 55.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
Slaking is even stronger thanks to Double Edge.
>They have pretty lackluster movepools even taking into account their massive attack stats. Now that is just a fucking lie, even for Regigigas. Both have great attacking Movepools with all the coverage you could ask for, and Slaking has even better support movepool too. Yawn, Bulk Up, Slack Off, Taunt, and Encore.
>They're like Kartana in that regard, but Kartana has dual STABs and coverage options for most Pokemon that would attempt to wall it.Except that Kartana only has crappy Low BP moves to use with the exception of Leaf blade and some charge moves. No Ice, Ground, Electric, Rock, or Fire coverage, and both have far better Fighting coverage too. And Slaking also has Gunk Shot and Sucker Punch.
Also Kartana is frail as fuck. Slaking and Regigigas can take hits really well.
>They'd probably be OU for a couple of months as new toy syndrome causes people to overhype them, see: Glastrier, Regieleki, and then they'll fall down in usage. No one thought Glastrier was gonna be OU, and most people thought Regieleki was going to be worse because of its shitty movepool. An actually bad movepool, as opposed to Regigigas and Slaking which have actually good movepools.
The only questionable one is Regigigas and only for National Dex. Both would rape current OU with something like Illuminate. They definitely would be better than Zamazenta-C, who is still Ubers.
If I’m wrong, then you should be able to show us their counters and offensive checks.
