You can say it's my fault for trivializing it, but I could also say it's your fault for getting through those areas in 30 minutes without appreciating the game design. BW also had the WiFi mode I mentioned, just in case you were getting bored of the same Pokemon over and over again over the dozens of hours you played it. This isn't even getting into third versions and remakes, which due to not needing a new engine can focus on adding actual content. It's why I prefer ORAS to XY, it adds a bit to the Battle Masion but the way better stuff is the integration of online content into the record mixing content, while also future proofing some of it to work with StreetPass and other things that don't require the 3DS servers staying up. Shame they fucked up Hoenn in the process but I'll take what I can get.
