Unless Basculegion gets a new ability on Gen transfer (wouldn't be the first time). A base stage fish with 460 BST likely won't break the game. Same goes for Eevee, outside base stage only tourneys, it's not going to be that much of a threat or win button.

This could also be because the majority of the Unova dex was included in SWSH. There are a lot of Kanto, Johto and Hoenn mons in SV that didn't make it into SWSH because they were a little too shit to be considered for competitive play. (Alolan Muk, Breloom and I guess Greninja are the only truly VGC-relevant mons that didn't make it into SWSH)

Modern DLC is good for games and gives them longer lifespans. Spreading out the time you spend with the game makes you engage with it for a longer time overall.

This, I want to know if there are post game rematches for gym leaders/Team Star and if so, what levels we're talking.

Repeatable endgame battles are the only thing of value to me in single player after catching everything. I like to make shitmon teams and beat the league, or beat a gym leader with their own type.

Maybe they'll make Adaptability only apply to the original types (but this would mean a Water/Ghost Basculegion turning into a different type would have Three STABs, and it would still have an overpowered Water Tera and Ghost Tera Form)
