Most of the gym leaders were solid concept-wise. Burgh being a notable weak point.
I like the season mechanic a lot. I think that was really cool and I wish more stuff took advantage of it. On that note, Sawsbuck is kino and underrated.
N and Ghetsis are probably the most compelling villains, even though Giovanni will always be more iconic. The fact that they even touch on the dog-fighting side of pokemon was refreshing.
I like the bridges.
Gems were neat.
