It could have been good, but instead it was fucking stupid. If only Gamefreak didn't outsource it and made it in house as a full part of gen 8, then we might have ended the generation with all the pokemon usable in one game.

It wasn't supposed to be that way, like with ORAS/HGSS/FRLG, we were supposed to be able to battle and play with Pokemon from newer Gens in Sinnoh that came after it's original release.

It was okay, just didn’t understand the no Battle Frontier thing. At least with ORAS you had a whole bunch of other stuff to sink your teeth into. This was just DP all over again.
