The place is one whole big circlejerk (not denying this place isn't, it is for a different reason), that's why you see so much of the same opinions and community validation on Twitter. Outside of Twitter, no one likes Joe Merrick. Reddit doesn't like him, this place doesn't like him, YouTube (i.e. the majority of the population) doesn't like him, and no one else even knows who the fucker is. On the contrary, everyone who is a Pokémon fan and has been on the internet in the past decade knows about and has a positive opinion on shofu.
He may not be as big as some of the other PokéTubers out there, but he's more important than Joe Merrick, for sure.
