Why don't they make similar games, similar pokemon, similar story, similar characters, similar atmosphere, similar tone, similar music, similar direction if this is keeps proving to be the most successful and iconic generation?
why even pander to Kanto if none of the new games look remotely similar to Gen1?
if they want to milk Charizard for money, why not make another dragon starter?
if they want to milk Kanto for money, why not make another region with toxic environment and dangerous habitants?
if they want to milk Gengar, Snorlax, Mewtwo, Eevee for money, why not make good designs again?
Don't they know that old pokemon fans hate what they turned the franchise into?

I don't understand this franchise.
it's like they want old fans to keep buying Pokemon but at the same time they are desperate to be trend-brand like Fortnite and Disney with Twitter mindset.
