Meganium actually has venusaur copy-stats, but they cut sp.atk from 100 to defense for no reason. Meganium is venusaur if they not give poison type and some shit abillity for HA. In other hand, hisuian typhlosion is slower, because charizard must be better than typhoon

Being a Physical water type wasn't ideal, but the meta overall was much more forgiving of that since this was before the everything else became minmaxed and over-tuned.

desu, Hisuian being slower might be about balancing, they likely didn't want it to be more minimaxed than the original Typhlosion. Also the Hisuian form seems more relaxed than the original so it makes sense it would be slower.
