Im fact I wish they'd stop making new starters. I'd like if they recycled them in different trios and with maybe new forms like PLA did. The Pokemon league by the lore specifically breeds them for new trainers, so selectively breeding them into different regional forms, like dogs, seem fairly believable to me.
