Gen 8 was the last good gen and I'm being unironic. I loved Gen 8, had so much hype around SwSh and Legends, but all the quality seems to have vanished. The character designs are nowhere near as appealing, the graphics somehow look less cohesive, the gameplay seems less focused and even easier. I hope they go back to SwSh or Legends style after this, I'll still buy the game because my friends will and it'll be fun playing with them, but it doesn't look too good.
