Fine, it's a pretty cool region. Not a fan of the legendaries being actual gods instead of mystical and mysterious Pokemon but they did some neat stuff with it by the time Legends rolled around. It just makes me wanna see Johto get similar treatment, there's so much potential.

Was it purely the DS that made it so popular? I like Sinnoh but it’s not hard to see why it was considered the worst region when it was new

nah, the soundtrack is unmatched to this day, and the color scheme/art style is pretty much unique in the series
