>What is a Goodmon?
A Goodmon is a Pokemon who is good. Due to a unusually useful typing early in the game, access to useful moves, or early evolution, a Goodmon can carry your party far through the game. A Goodmon is often dependent on its placement in the game, so a Goodmon in one game may be a Shitmon in another.
Examples are
>Nidoran in Red and Blue, who has access to Peck and Double Kick and can be fully evolved by Mount Moon.
>Dugtrio in Red and Blue, who can be caught at a high level unusually early in the game
>Ampharos in Gold and Silver, who is one of the few early Electric types available can learn the elemental punches
>Breloom in RSE, with it's powerful fighting type moves and status ailments
