You've got a single-digit IQ if you didn't understand after Hisuian variants AND the new regular pokémon got added to SV, they weren't going to put Enamourus in at the very first opportunity, which meant ALL forces of Nature were returning.
That the Legendary quartet this Gen seems to be based off the 4 Evils and it just makes sense to bring them in as counterpoints to the SV crew.

Because they told you it wasn't happening and as they're only adding exponentially to the canon after culling the 'Dex (finally freed to make more than 80 new regional pokémon), that reduced the ability to "just add in the missing" at the end of Gen 9, 10 11 and so on.

did I pay Nintendo a yearly fee to keep my pokemon in a goddamn prison from which they can never LEAVE? several of my favorite pokemon haven't had a single game post HOME which they can even be transferred out, so once they were in home from Bank, they were stuck, I couldn't even use them on my old 3DS games.

I am so fucking sick of this favoritism.

I have no idea. He was 15 when Red and Blue came out and he tells me he found everything Sinnoh onward were a bit disappointing. Probably should've asked him that before assuming he had good taste in Pokémon games. I mainly took his word for it since everyone else I know from my generation loves gen 6 onward without exception.
