We already had that with TCPi replacing their 4kids VAs anon. People moved on, not like they could do anything.
If people don't care about Pokemon being cut or graphics being up to scratch they wouldn't care about some two-bit TCPi/4kids schmuck losing their role.

The recent Bayo VA controversy. Lady was offered a flat rate of $4K for her role, asked for more and got turned away. PG originally said she couldn't return due to overlapping circumstances. Makes you wonder how badly Babylon's Fail fucked em up.

For those that don't know, the OG voice actress of Bayonetta came out to say that she wasn't hired for 3 because they wanted to pay her $4000 and less for her role, lowballing VA's.
People will criticize Platinum and Nintendo for this recent VA union boogaloo
But I'm pretty sure if this was Pokemon, Joe Merrick will fli the script and somehow make the VA seem like they are at fault

He already did it with Kit and Krysta, so what's stopping him?

Yeah, same shit happened to that one chick in that shameless show. She asked to be paid as much as William h Macy and they said she wasn't worth it so she walked. Dunno if it wasn't a publicity stunt but a similar thing happened with the new Futurama season where John DiMaggio said he wanted more and eventually they just had to cave and give it to him since the show would do significantly worse without him. All depends on how much of a worthwhile asset you actually are and I guess she's just not all that worthwhile.

Really? Idk I heard rumors he was doing it for the pay of the other VAs so maybe he had to split it but it all really sounds like bullshit to me anyway. Only thing I know for sure is Futurama wouldn't happen without him.
