>What did it do to piss off TPC so hard?Being from Johto, Game Freak and TPC has shown they that don't value Johto as a region and may even hate Johto fans. Every time Johto gets a chance at something Game Freak and TPC somehow find a way to make it about fucking Kanto. Johto starters are almost always the last to get anything if they get it at all and almost never show up in anything. They aren't even allowed to have their own stat values (Feraligatr lucked out because its stat values are arranged completely differently from Blastiose, but Meganium only has SpA and SpD swapped , and you've seen the COPY PASTE CHARIZARD memes).

The ONLY reason Typhlosion is getting any respect now is because its family has ties with Hisui now. TPC probably considers Cyndaquil, Rowlett and Oshawott a more valid trio than the Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile.
