IIRC, May, Dawn, Lyra, and Serena are relevant to the story in varying ways which is why they get anime appearances (Lyra sort of a fringe case), meanwhile Hilda is just relegated to the Battle Subway and Selene/Gloria don't appear at all, so they don't get to be in the anime
