Sadly, when corporations get a hold of creativity, it kills it by trying to make it cheap, AKA generic (a bland taste, so anyone can have it. Example is

Side note: I'm holding on hope for Komi san to remain pure, but the more it goes, the more I feel corporations will try to destroy it, considering she is the only one to dare to be a. Relatable; b. Interesting to read/watch, and c. (and probably most important) give the waifu a proper male partner you actually want to see together.
