After the first actual trailer, other than the Megaman duo, they just showed irrelevant mememons that only R*ddit cared about and then forgot about them in a week. Even the boring human characters are better.

the current state of the board is not even comparable to SM and earlier pre-releases. Even SWSH had more discussion on it even if it was controversy. Legends seemed like a bigger deal too.

I don't understand why it is miniscule though. Their starting selling point was that it's the first proper open world one (something thought normies thought legends would be) yet it doesn't feel like a big deal when it should be

there is literally nothing that a game being open world adds to pre release discussion, legends arceus wasn't just pseudo open but had an interesting setting and revamped game mechanics to discuss. you can play crystal clear right now but there wasn't anything like pla before it released
