>>51693718>>51693872Here's a quote from me doing a test on Ursaluna potential when someone talk about it being broken:
Not really. At best, it'll be Mid OU to UUBL. Now before anyone get angry at me, listen first.
I did some test with Ursaluna and it does hit fucking hard. Not only is it the strongest Guts user, but it has its very own Close Combat in the form of a ground type move called Headlong Rush. It's so strong, that a Guts Burned maxed EV Adamant Headlong Rush can one shot a max EV Toxapex with Impish. (Before anyone ask, I change Close Combat into a ground type, so you know that's it's Headlong Rush)
Prove:
>252+ Atk Guts Ursaring Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 362-428 (119 - 140.7%) -- guaranteed OHKOWhile that is very impressive, it's also have a massive weakness that comes in speed and SpD. I also did test on Pokemon that can challenge it and it seem that Water type pokemons that relied on special attacks are more than powerful to put it down. I used Keldeo, Volcanion, Primarina, and Inteleon and they can 1 shot it. I also ran a test with a physical Pokémon and Rapid Strike Urshifu can 1 shot it with a choice banded Close Combat.
What I'm saying is, Ursaluna is a truly powerful Pokémon that deserve its respect, but Pokémon with fast speed and high SpA can take advantage of its SpD and slow speed, forcing the fight to who strikes first, who switches first, or you are trying an assault vest style with Bulletproof or Unnerve. If Scarlet and Violet don't bring in any of the hard-hitting Special attackers, Uber for sure.
