>>51694558No. In Arceus the reason Pokémon are aggressive is because they're still not used to having people around. And none of the NPCs paint the Pokémon as evil or bad, one NPC even spills out that it's just their nature. The game paints Kamado distrust of Pokémon as a bad thing.
But the opposite is shown in side quest and watching the village grow as people and Pokémon learn to co-exist. Side quests like the one with the kid and the drifloon, which after that quest you can see both playing together meaning the drifloon meant no harm, the cute chimecho quest, the one with the wild mr.mime and chansey and others are there to build on that idea. NPCs note that the reason the player is able to take Pokémon is because they have a lot of love for them. The lady by the pasture takes note that Pokémon can easily break out of there but may choose to stay because they want to get close to people.

The reason Pokémon don't fight back or do anything bad is because they're like dogs. Dogs are real creature that are naturally close to human beings, who are loyal and, if properly trained, obedient and they usually don't harm their owners even when abused. The anime had a gengar wait for his owner for years because he told him to stay put in an abandoned house and the gengar paiently waited for his return.
