weren't really glitches from DP (I mean SOME battle-related glitches from DP were there before patches), but rather glitches they made themselves because of shitty analog movement in a game that wasn't designed for it

Anyways the tldr, the games should've been mods like LegPee instead of the links awakening remake if GF couldn't have been fucked to remake Sinnoh in true 3d with a controllable camera.

People will say otherwise solely because of the state they released in, but in reality they are vast improvements over the originals in every way possible. The problem is Platinum already did this + with the Battle Frontier. In my opinion it’s the Emerald and ORAS situation where both games are good in their own right and whichever one you choose to play solely depends on if you want to play the Battle Frontier or not.

Oras was genuinely unique enough that it could pass for its own game. Only falling short in terms of skipping the Battle Frontier or Battle Tower for the sake of just lazily recycling the Battle facility from XY.

BDSP is just DP with updated graphics and less polished additions of Platinum without any of the elements that actually made Platinum an actually successor to DP.
