When there is no variety in the wild encounters. Too much is bad too but i hate replaying DPPt and BW because of that, when you have already played them multiple times you are forced to use Pokemon that you already know or just wait until there is something that you haven't used before.

Random encounters always annoy me, I know it's shit inherited from the old JRPGs but it's still shit.
Being able to see the Pokemon in the overworld was the best thing that could happen to this franchise.
