You can't bring in or take out Spinda, the only pokemon in BDSP to not be transferable. Something something Spinda math and Unity make it wonky. If you have a full gen 1-4 dex already, you can't complete the Pokedex until you catch Spinda in-game, which is only post game and only in swarms, which only 1 spawns a day.

ILCA fucked the Spinda's spot system of GF.
The impact of this is you can't move any Spinda from previous games to BDSP. You MUST to catch a Spinda inside BDSP or trade with someone to get it. You can't complete the national pokedex and receive the Shiny Charm because of this

That sucks but can't you just check the swarm every day? Like it's been almost a year surely if you're autistic enough to complete the dex you would've got a Spinda swarm by now right?

It's an equal chance between the 28 possible swarm pokemon, isn't it?
So even if you checked it every single day since release, there's a 0.0005% chance it was never Spinda.
You'd have to be EXTREMELY unlucky, but not outside the realm of possibility. Especially if you missed some days, checking "only" 126 days, there's still a 1% chance you never got Spinda.

Swarms are the worst. I completed my Johto Dex in HeartGold a few weeks ago, and the last Pokémon I needed for it was Delibird, which I needed to get from SoulSilver (didn't have), in the postgame of FireRed (didn't feel like playing through all the way), or via a swarm in Platinum. Ended up using the clock rollover trick to advance the days until I got that Delibird swarm, and I have no regrets.

Not sure if there's any exploit that can be used in BDSP. If not, that sucks.

Changing the date is not an option on Switch as it causes temporary events to freeze for another 24 hours

Maybe I'm wrong but I think that once Spinda leaves BDSP it is no longer possible for it to return. The above would explain why there is no native Spinda in HOME, only the bank stamped ones
