>>51720942What the fuck are you going on about, Staraptor is a fucking sweeping monster ingame and even quite good in competitive at the time of release, Lucario is clearly above average and Luxray while suffering from lack of strong physical electric moves is still very serviceable. Also the games are fucking easy and you can use whichever mon you like, I assraped Cynthia with a Bibarel on my first playthrough as a kid.
The real reason you always see those three is because DiaPer's dex variety is shit overall and an absolute jet stream of diarrhea directed in the player's mouth in the early to midgame. Platinum is only marginally better.
