What do you want and what are we expecting in the new Ice Dragon psuedo line? Physical? Special? Mixed? "Tanky"? How do you think it will stack up against the other pseudos? Potential abilities to make it strong?

Mamoswine gets by because Thick Fat and Ground typing eliminate its Fire/Rock weaknesses.
Weavile gets by because it’s effectively Physical Darkrai but forced to using Boots and without sleep moves.
The Ice/Dragon Psuedo is gonna need a miracle stat distribution, broken abilities, moves, or some combo for it to not be a shitmon.
Remember, before Boots and Freeze-Dry, Kyurem was RUBL.

A while back someone pointed out that all the pseudos since Garchomp have one particular stat as their highest stat, and it's different for all of them:
>Garchomp: Atk
>Hydreigon: Sp Atk
>Goodra (both forms): Sp Def
>Kommo-o: Def
>Dragapult: Speed
If this pattern continues, this new pseudo will have HP as its highest stat.
However, there's no guarantee that this will happen, for all we know the thing could have Sp Atk as its highest stat.

Would have to basically be Mamoswine Plus. Thick Fat (plus Fluffy fur look) to effectively return its Fire resistance or Intimidate to stop physical Rock moves from obliterating it. Beef HP and SpDef to tank Power Gems, add in some Attack and Defense and gut Speed completely. Give it DDance, Ice Shard, and Freeze Dry and it’s usable. Anything less and it’ll never see the light of day.

I wish they would make gen 3 the standard and make two pseudos every gen. I hate it, but now I’m invested in the x/dragon pseudo bingo. I guess we technically got two pseudos in gen 8, but they were BOTH dragons

The simplest way to make it good would be to give it 125+ in an attacking stat, a complimentary boosting move, and at least 75 speed, alongside Slush Rush. That would make it a staple on Hail HO teams.

showdown hasnt added all the moves
H Lilligant has Drain Punch AND close Combat in PLA
with Hustle and Choice band it has 763 attack from the get go, and Grassy Glide's priority has already shown to be retarded on a bad mon like Rillaboom.
This is what it's actually look like
Drain Punch/Leaf Blade can be replaced with either Aerial Ace or Poison Jab for Coverage.
Gen 9 Tutors might give it something more.
considering the level of powercreep this thing might be UU at best lol

I'd give it Filter to compensate for being a defensive ice type mon, and a recovery move like Roost.
So basically Kyurem.

Yeah the calculator is wonky with resetting values, it was meant to be 80

I feel like Ice Scales or Snow Warning are what it absolutely needs to have a chance, unless they give it a signature ability. Prism Armor would also be awesome but I doubt they would do it. I have tentative faith, but the aesthetic designs have also been so incredibly polarizing this gen
