>>51719319Fair enough. Nice way to make some money.
A lot of kids played Pokémon in one if the elementary schools I went to (I'm 19 so this is when Platinum and HG/SS were the newest games). One of my friends at the time was the first kid in the school to get an Action Replay, and when the school did pizza days, if you gave him your pizza you'd get a level 100 Shiny Arceus with perfect IVs. He was a bro and gave me mine for free, but it's long-gone due to how many HeartGold playthroughs I did on that cartridge where I wiped the save file. I may or may not have neglected to transfer the thing to Black before starting a new playthrough.
Moral of the story: I'm an idiot.
I also read a greentext a while back where some Anon claimed a kid at his school convinced a bunch of kids that his dad worked at Game Freak and he "sold" them all copies of Pokémon Gold and Silver a few months in advance. The kids gave him like 20 bucks each. Supposedly it turned out that he had promised to give out the games on the day he moved away.
Come to think of it, I should have tried something like that with X and Y. My family moved all the way to the other end of the State about 2 weeks before Gen 6 dropped.
