How come some chinks are able to shit out objectively better world level design in span less than a year but Pokemon Company can't despite having a whopping 3 years of development time? SV still looks like its stuck in 2006

I struggle to think of ANY other devs, let alone those who have been in the industry for decades, as technically incompetent and as bad at game design in general, as Gamefreak is nowadays. They're literally moving backwards

Because they actually put the (gacha) money they earned back into the game.

Genshin Impact currently is the most expensive video game ever made, with at least 3 or 4 more years of content to come.

Also they are only limited by phones, not Nintendos crappy hardware.

I can at least see how their games are buggy messes seeing how complex they can be. Pokemon games, complexity wise, could probably run on the Super Nintendo. Obviously not in 3D, but sprite based. The only thing preventing it is the cartridge size limits
