>>51721564>auto grindingit's confirmed that it gives much less EXP though, I'd settle for like 1/4
>now skippable trainer battlesyeah now this sucks ass. fucks up level design a whole lot
>>51723146nta but arbitrary number of team members, and stupid single battles. In most non-Persona RPGs you get your team members at specific points in the game, so the game can balance "Exp.Share" around it. Also, enemies are usually multiple, so overleveling just has much less of an impact.
It also makes more sense for your whole party to get EXP, because your whole party is in the battle
In Pokémon, as soon as you get Pokéballs, you get the choice of having up to 6 Pokémon in your party - this is why you should always opt for the balance between
>less team members, more leveling but harder time against specific enemies>more team members, less leveling but answers to more enemiesnu-Exp.Share completely fucks that up because it gives MORE EXP if you have MORE Pokémon.
And not a little amount either - fucking 50% more for each Pokémon that... wasn't even used in the battle??
So you end up getting 3.5 as much more EXP if you have six Pokemon in your party rather than one - it's a "rich get richer" kinda thing, and it's stupid.
