I have been following this franchise my whole life, literally my whole life. I lived through Pokémania and played every single game but now it comes to the point that I see the game and I don't recognise the franchise anymore.
The music does not sound like Pokémon, the artstyle looks like generic garbage, and core mechanics such as mandatory TRAINER BATTLES to test your skill are left out.
I bought Sword and Shield even after the dexit because I had faith, but SV seems like the point I'll have to say goodbye. Approaching my 30s now and clearly this franchise does not want to appeal to people my age anymore (unless you're a tranny).
Breakes my heart but this may be the last Pokémon game I'm playing.
