He said he made the field theme present in the Sada/Turo trailer, we know he made the wild battle theme, and then it's obvious the Tera Raid theme is from him (would be hilarious if it wasn't though, since it's the only good one of the three)

could you imagine if they actually made characters/music/theme around the fucking area the game is located in? I know they never did it with previous games, but fuck it's really starting to hit me, with how bland this shit is, and it's all starting to sound same'y. add some spicy flamingo vibes to the battle theme, they can make it subtly, idc, just add some kind of fucking flavor to this being Pokemons Spain. fucking hell.

This sounds exactly like Masuda. The start of the melody when it repeats at 0:20 is more or less the exact same progression as the battle theme in DPPt. The general flow is the same as most other battle themes, especially at 0:15 when it hits a "high" note and then just holds it for a few measures while the drums continue on to do some little syncopation. Just because you don't have an ear for this kind of thing doesn't mean that others don't.

You can easily argue against Dragon Quest for reusing their iconic tracks, but I wish Pokemon would do it more often. I kind of like the wild battle theme snippet we’ve heard, but they’ve never really surpassed the classic themes from gens 1 and 2 in my opinion. They’ve gotten close a few times. They’ve come up with some great stuff for special battles. But the wild / trainer battle music generally hasn’t been catchy enough for how often it gets played.
