So, regardless of what features Gen 5 had, it was going to be a 'low' gen. Gen 6, for as much as it was an eventual disappointment had so much hype built around it. Even after it came out, like 70% of the people on my college campus walked around with their 3DS' in sleep mode. Everyone was playing the games. People were loving it.
Until they got to the end and that 'new game high' wore off, and we were all like, "that's it?"
