>>51736329More immediate access. "Teratype Change Item" is probably going to be postgame and somewhat prohibitively expensive. I don't think they'll make it a DLC exclusive item or anything, because of two reasons:
- Being able to change your Teratype will be vital to competitive play, and Pokemon you catch or breed not having the right Teratype you need would make too many of your Pokemon not open to consideration for use. It would go against all the stuff they'd introduced to fix up your Pokemon already (Bottlecaps, Ability Capsules/Patches, Nature Mints)
- When Pokemon HOME opens up (late Feb/early March, long before DLC), they are not going to want you transferring everything you can in and finding out none of your old Pokemon are a Teratype that would ever be useful to them.
What I think the DLC will do is give you a more convenient way to change the Teratype, but changing it will be available in the base game to begin with.
