>>51743590It was a concession to the fact no-one would complete the 'dex with the kind of trading they'd implemented, as they never intended to put the full multiplayer trade concessions into it. Yeah, you CAN trade normally, if you have that chance. For everyone else, there's linking cord. Now we're back in full core mode, with likely wonder trade or whatever the fuck they call it now, not to mention the dedicated trading UI, they don't need linking cord. Just need to not be a putz and look for a trade online.
