I'll never understand the hatred for Electivire. For me its an amazing design and a perfect conclusion of the Electabuzz line

I fucking hate how they made my bro Electabuzz go from a (relatively speaking) speedy mixed attacker to a SLOW FRAIL PHYSICAL ELECTRIC TYPE. Base 90 with recoil is an abysmal main STAB. Give him Plasma Fists and drop some of the HP for more speed and he'd be great.

Should've kept the fangs that Elekid started with & Electabuzz grew in, otherwise I can't complain too much as it's one of the better gen4 evos.

Try using Wild Charge in casual play. Definitely got fucked for being a physical electric type in the generation where the split happened. Barely any reason to use him over Electabuzz for people who care. I think Froslass, Rhyperior and Dusknoir got the better end in Gen 4 evos due having a unique niche.

I don't like the tails and I prefered how Electabuzz had an assymetrical pattern. Those are minor nitpicks though, it's a 8/10 design. The thing is Elevtivire is nothing more than yet another pure electric type with no good stab, but unlike Luxray or Raichu or Jolteon you can't just pick it up since it has a retarded evolution process.

I don’t really get any of the hatred people have for any of the Gen 4 evos, I think they’re all really solid, just that there’s a good few that are way better (magnezone, honchkrow, electivire, gliscor, weavile for example are top tier shit).
