I love ORAS so much bros. Why did they have to release with the expectation of remake activity additions instead of being base games with updates later?

Looking over these unforgivable omissions again the rest of the game is completely invalidated. I hope the next Hoenn game isn't an ugly mess with forgettable characters and zero (0) new features again.
