why would they bother putting effort in when BDSP sold 14.8m copies worldwide? They made a killing off of this game and it's complete dogshit, making ORAS retrospectively with its tweaks and changes look fantastic when even that was mediocre. HG/SS sold less than ORAS, so they see a direct correlation that the more effort they put in the less it sells, so they'll just pack up any old shit and sell it to us. I really wouldn't be surprised to see a BW remake released, or at the very least announced, next year - that'll be squeezed out onto the Switch before they move to another console
