>ORASIts a side grade to RSE, you can argue minutia of what Emerald changes should've been kept and if the new gen features make up for it. But the region is solid regardless. I don't really liked the kinda-chibi look it and XY have, a lot of design elements in general didn't work in 3D so I don't think the world looks as nice. Delta episode sucks but at least your rival fully evolves their starter now.
>SM/USUMLargely comes down to how annoying you find the story. With a skip button I'd quite like these games though the areas are fairly linear. They did try to give the region a lot of personality though it is hampered by muh kanto. The 3D spaces are more fleshed out stuff like ridemon were a good step. At least it wasn't just gyms again. In theory they should be amazing but end up being less than the sum of its parts.
>XYReplaying them will surprise you with how they tried at first and then the effort just falls off a cliff. Mixed with it forcing so much old shit on you Kalos really lacks much personality to me. Friendship group was a neat idea, but no one cares about any of them. Same issue with looks as ORAS. Its got good distribution and that fairy town is cute, that's about all I got.
